Virtual Teacher Privacy Policy


  1. This document describes the privacy policy of the Virtual Teacher mobile learning application (hereinafter we will use the name "Virtual Teacher" or the word "Application"), provided to the User by the company under the name Maciej Rozenbajgier (hereinafter we will use the term "Supplier" or "we" in various forms ) via the Google Play platform.
  2. To use some Virtual Teacher features (such as sharing Materials, accessing Materials shared by other users), you must have a Google account (email address / login and password for Google services). If you do not have such an account, you can get it from Google (Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), e.g. by registering for the service GMail . To log in with a Google account, Virtual Teacher may use your default Google account already set up on the Device. If you have multiple Google Accounts set up on your device, you can manually select one of them. If the account you want to use to log into Virtual Teacher is not on the list, you can add it by manually entering the login / email address and password of the account of your choice. The processing of User data related to the Google account and the security of the login process are described in the Terms of Use of Google services and other documents published by Google.
  3. Your Google service email address provided during login is stored on the Supplier's IT System side and we can use it to contact you in justified cases. We will not pass this address on to third parties.
  4. Your Virtul Teacher user account contains the following details:
    1. Google service email address - this address is not visible to other Virtual Teacher users,
    2. profile picture set in your Google account - visible to other Virtual Teacher users, this picture can be changed in Google account settings,
    3. username that you choose yourself when creating a Virtual Teacher account - visible to other Virtual Teacher users,
    4. year of birth - invisible to other Virtual Teacher users,
  5. You consent to the processing of data provided by you via Virtual Teacher to the IT system supporting the operation of the Application (hereinafter we will use the term "IT System"). In particular, these are cloud services provided by Google: Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform . The method of processing these data by the above platforms is described in the relevant documents related to these services and published by Google.
  6. The above also applies to voice data (in a situation where you learn by voice learning or create Materials by voice method), which are sent via the Internet to the Information System for processing into text. Voice data is used by Virtual Teacher to:
    1. compare your oral learning answer to the correct answer in the Materials,
    2. to create a Material without having to manually enter it using the keyboard.
    Virtual Teacher does not record your voice permanently.
  7. Using Virtual Teacher does not require you to provide your personal data. Apart from your email address, which you use to log into the application, Virtual Teacher does not store any personal data that could allow us or a third party to identify your identity.
  8. In the event that you voluntarily include your personal data in the content of the Materials, and then make these materials available to other users, the Provider is not responsible for the consequences of other persons obtaining access to your data.
  9. We may obtain information about the physical location of your Device at regular intervals when you use the Service, for example by using the geolocation feature on the Device through which you use Virtual Teacher. In addition, we may infer your location from other information we collect (for example, your device's IP address indicates the general geographic region from which you connect to the Internet). We may use your Device's location information to provide better application features, notifications, ads, or other content that may be affected by your location.
  10. In order to support and improve the performance of Virtual Teacher, we may partner with various external advertising networks, marketing and analytics companies, such as Facebook, Google, Oath and Unity (we will collectively refer to them hereinafter as "Third Party Advertising Providers") at various times. Third Party Advertising Service Providers collect and use anonymous data about your use of Virtual Teacher as well as other websites to provide you with advertisements and content tailored to your preferences and probable interests or to better understand the effectiveness of advertisements. Aggregated demographic and interest data may also be used for market research purposes.
  11. This Privacy Policy is only in addition to the Google Play Store privacy policy . The Application Provider is not responsible for the privacy policy implemented by entities managing Google Play Store applications and their compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to data processing. personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (Journal of Laws UE L 119 of 2016, pp. 1-88), the Act of May 10, 2018 on the protection of personal data ( i.e. Journal of Laws 2018.1000) and the Act of July 18, 2002 on the provision of electronic services (i.e. Journal of Laws 2017.1219) as part of the Google Play Store.
  12. This Privacy Policy may be changed by the Application Provider at any time without notifying you.
  13. By installing the Application on the Device, you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept, please do not install the Application or uninstall it. Removing the Application from the mobile device is tantamount to the termination of using the Application.
